Changes to healthcare: You have questions, we have answers.
The Health Insurance Marketplace (also often referred to as the health insurance exchange) is an online marketplace created under the federal Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. It’s a place where individuals and small groups can compare health insurance plans and shop and apply for coverage. All states were required to have a marketplace in place by Jan. 1, 2014. The federal government operates Michigan’s Health Insurance Marketplace.
